Geekfoolery

I am on my way right now to New York City for the annual swim around the island of Manhattan. I am not crazy or insane enough to actually do the swim myself, but I will be paddling alongside someone who is.

The mileage is in the neighborhood of 30 miles, but the race is timed to take advantage of the currents going up the East River and down the Hudson. Expected time is about 9 hours.

I’ll post updates throughout the weekend.
